How We Built LeadLocker: A Scalable, Secure Client Intake System in 10 Days

🚨 The Problem: Secure Intake, Without the Friction

Most agencies and consultants still collect sensitive data (like credentials, API keys, or private links) via insecure forms, email, or Google Docs.

We wanted to change that.

Our goal? Build a branded, secure, scalable intake experience for VelocivTech clients that:

  • Only allows pre-approved leads to submit
  • Automatically logs submissions
  • Stores secrets safely in AWS
  • Feels fast, elegant, and branded — not clunky

🔐 The Solution: LeadLocker

We built LeadLocker, a token-based secure intake system, in under two weeks.

Here’s what it does:

  • Clients request access via a short form
  • Admin (us) approves it via Airtable
  • Make.com generates a unique token and emails a secure link
  • The link opens a one-time form where the client submits sensitive data
  • Secrets go to AWS Secrets Manager, metadata to Airtable
  • The link self-expires

It’s DRY. It’s scalable. It’s secure.
